PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA DAN DISIPLIN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh (1) motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) motivasi kerja terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan, (3) motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (4) disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Makmur Jaya Casting. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif kausal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Makmur Jaya Casting dan objeknya adalah motivasi kerja, disiplin kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 30 karyawan yang semuanya dijadikan unit pengamatan, sehingga penelitian ini termasuk penelitian populasi. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan pengaruh sebesar 81,30%, (2) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin kerja karyawan dengan pengaruh sebesar 69,80%, (3) motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan pengaruh sebesar 55,40%, (4) disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan pengaruh sebesar 38,20% pada PT Makmur Jaya Casting.

The aims of this study were to obtain the proven explanatory of findings on the influence of (1) work motivation and discipline on employee performance, (2) work motivation on employee work discipline, (3) work motivation on employee performance, and (4) work discipline on performance employee at PT Makmur Jaya Casting. The research design was be used the quantitative causal. The subject of this research is employees of PT Makmur Jaya Casting and its objects are work motivation, work discipline, and employee performance. The population of this study is 30 employees, which all the employees were used as observation units, so this study as population research. Data were collected by using questionnaires, and interviews, then it’s analyzed the by path analysis. The results of this research showed that (1) work motivation and discipline had a positive effect on employee performance of 81.30%, (2) work motivation had a positive effect on employee work discipline with an influence of 69.80%, (3) work motivation positive effect on employee performance with an influence of 55.40%, and (4) work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance with an influence of 38.20% in PT Makmur Jaya Casting.
