PENGEMBANGAN E-LEARNING BERBASIS EDMODO PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam upaya mengembangkan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Edmodo untuk siswa SMP. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu merancang pembelajaran e-learning berbasis Edmodo mendeskripsikan kualitas hasil pengembangan e-learning berbasis Edmodo pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk siswa SMP; dan mendeskripsikan efektifitas penggunaan e-learning berbasis Edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA untuk siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VIII.13 dan VIII.14 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Data kevalidan uji ahli media, ahli isi, ahli desain, uji perorangan, uji kelompok kecil dan uji lapangan diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket. Data yang diperoleh tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil evaluasi ahli isi sebesar 90% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil evaluasi ahli media sebesar 92% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil evaluasi ahli desain sebesar 92% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji perorangan sebesar 93% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil uji kelompok kecil sebesar 92,7% berada pada kualifikasi baik. Hasil uji lapangan sebesar 90,44% berada pada kualifikasi baik. Penghitungan hasil belajar secara manual diperoleh hasil t hitung sebesar 22,87. Harga t tabel taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 1,992. Jadi harga t hitung lebih besar daripada harga t tabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar bahasa IPA siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan e-learning berbasis Edmodo. Nilai rata-rata setelah menggunakan media (89,03) lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum menggunakan media (58,26).Kata Kunci : pengembangan, e-learning, edmodo, IPA
This research was conducted in an effort to develop Edmodo-based e-learning instructional media for junior high school students. Operationally these goals is elaborated in three stages of work phase, i.e. to design Edmodo-based e-learning instructional media, to describe the quality of the development of e-learning Edmodo based on teaching IPA to junior high school students; and to describe the effectiveness of Edmodo-based e-learning instructional media usage based on student learning outcomes in teaching IPA for junior high school students. This type of research is the Research and Development, using ADDIE development model. This research involved VIII.13 and VIII.14 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Testing validity data of media experts, content experts, expert design, individual testing, small group testing and field tests obtained using a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive qualitative, quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The result of the expert evaluation of the content was 90% at the excellent qualification. The result of the expert evaluation of media was 92% at the excellent qualification. The result of the expert evaluation of design was 92% at the excellent qualification. An individual test result was 93% at the excellent qualification. The test result of small groups was 92.7% at a good qualification. The result of field tests was 90.44% at good qualification. Manual counting of learning outcomes obtained t count value was 21.95. Value of t table with 5% significance is 1.992. So the price of t is greater than the price of t table so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So there are significant differences IPA student learning outcomes between before and after the use of Edmodo-based e-learning instructional media. The mean value after using the media (90.25) was higher than before using the media (58.26).
