PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA ULAR TANGGA MODEL HANNAFIN DAN PECK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN IPA PADA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP DI SMP NEGERI 6 SINGARAJA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yaitu rendahnya mutu pendidikan tercermin pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan multimedia ular tangga; (2) menguji validitas hasil pengembangan multimedia ulartangga; dan (3) mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan pengembangan multimedia ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Hannafin dan Peck. Prosedur pengembangan mengacu pada model yang dipilih. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner/angket, dan tes objektif. Hasil evaluasi ahli isi sebesar 90% pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Ahli desain sebesar 89% pada kualifikasi baik. Ahli media sebesar 95% pada kualifikasi sangat baik.Hasil uji perorangan sebesar 94,7% dan hasil uji kelompok kecil sebesar 95,5% masing-masing pada kualifikasi sangat baik, serta hasil uji lapangan sebesar 94,6% pada kualifikasi sangat baik sehingga media dikatakan valid untuk diuji cobakan. Penghitungan hasil belajar t hitung lebih besar daripada harga t tabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hasil belajar IPA siswa setelah menggunakan media (82,67) lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum menggunakan media (52,00). Dengan demikian, penelitian yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia ular tangga efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas VIII.Kata Kunci : pengembangan, multimedia, hannafin & peck
This research was motivated by problems of the low quality of education reflected in lower student learning outcomes caused by lack of use of instructional media. This study aims to (1) describe the design of multimedia development snakes and ladders; (2) test the validity of the results ulartangga multimedia development; and (3) determine the effectiveness of the use of multimedia development snakes and ladders on learning outcomes Junior High School eighth grade science students. Research using the model of development Hannafin and Peck. The procedure refers to the development of the model chosen. Data collection was performed by the method of recording documents, questionnaires and tests. Data collection instruments used recording sheet documents, questionnaires / questionnaire, and objective tests. The results of expert evaluation of the content of 90% on the excellent qualifications. Expert design by 89% on qualifying well. Expert media by 95% on a very qualified individual test baik.Hasil of 94.7% and a small group of test results of 95.5% respectively in qualifying was very good, as well as field test results of 94.6% on the excellent qualifications so media as valid to be tested. Calculation of learning outcomes t is greater than the price of t table so that H0 rejected and H1 accepted. IPA student learning outcomes after using the media (82.67) is higher than before using the media (52.00). Thus, a study done in SMPN 6 Singaraja it can be concluded that the use of multimedia snakes and ladders effectively used in science learning in class VIII.
