PENERAPAN METODE PEMBERIAN TUGAS BERBANTUAN MEDIA BOX GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOGNITIF ANAK MENGENAL LAMBANG BILANGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan mengenal konsep huruf anak kelompok BI TK Surapati Singaraja dengan menerapkan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media box gambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Ganesa Singaraja Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Data penelitian ini tentang kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan sebagai tahap awal dalam proses belajar membaca permulaan yang dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi, instrument yang digunakan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 58 tentang kurikulum pendidikan anak usia dini yaitu dengan menggunakan tiga indikator. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan meggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak kelompok B1 dengan metode pemberian tugas berbantuan media box gambar, pada siklus I sebesar 70% yang berada pada katagori sedang ternyata mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 87% tergolong pada katagori tinggi jadi peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada kelompok B1 TK Ganesa Singaraja sebesar 17%. Hal ini karena metode pemberian tugas dapat meningkatkan kemandirian anak, meningkatkan tanggung jawab anak dan box gambar dapat menarik anak untuk belajar sehingga lambang bilangan mudah dipahami oleh anak.Kata Kunci : metode pemberian tugas, media box gambar, kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan
This study aims to determine the development of children's ability to recognize the concept of group BI kindergarten letter Soerapatti Singaraja by applying methods of aided the media box image assignments. This research is an action research conducted in two cycles . Subjects in this study were kindergarten children in group B1 Ganesha Singaraja Academic Year 2011/2012 . The research data on the ability to know the symbol of numbers as an early stage in the process of learning to read the collected beginning with the observation method , the instrument is used in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education No. 58 on early childhood education curriculum by using three indicators . The data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive analysis method receipts. The results of the data analysis showed that an increase in the ability to know the emblem with the number of children in group B1 -assisted method of giving the media box image assignments , in the first cycle by 70 % who are in the category of being turned out on the second cycle increased to 87 % belong to the category of so high an increased ability familiar emblem of numbers in kindergarten Ganesha Singaraja B1 group by 17 % . This is because the method of administration tasks can increase the child's independence , increasing the responsibility of the child and the child can draw a picture box to learn that the symbol of numbers easily understood by children .
