PENERAPAN MODEL NUMBER HEAD TOGETHER BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF DI TK GIRIPUTRA II ANGSERI TABANAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok B semester II di TK Giri Putra II Angseri Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 setelah diterapkan model Number Head Together berbantuan media kartu gambar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 orang anak, 9 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan pada kelompok B semester II di TK Giri Putra II Angseri Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Data penelitian tentang kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal lambang bilangan dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan instrument berupa lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuatitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan kognitif setelah diterapakan model Number Head Together berbantuan media kartu gambar pada siklus I sebesar 55,50% yang tergolong pada kriteria rendah dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 84,38% yang tergolong pada kriteria tinggi. Jadi, terjadi peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal lambang bilangan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 28,88%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Number Head Together berbantuan media kartu gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak dalam mengenal lambang bilangan.Kata Kunci : model Number Head Together, Peningkatan kemampuan kognitif, media kartu gambar
This study aimed to determine the improvement of cognitive ability to the children in group B the second semester in Giri Putra II Angseri kindergarten of the 2013/2014 school year after application of the model number head together aided the media card image. This type of studyis classroomaction research was conductedin two cycles. Subjek in this study were 16 children, 9 men and 7 women in group B in the second semester of kindergarten son Giri Putra II Angseri Tabanan academic year 2013/2014. Research data on cognitive abilities in identying insignia numbers collected by observasi method and instruments such as observation sheets. Data analized using descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative analysis method. Results of the analysis showed that there was an increase in cognitive ability after application of the model Number Head Together picture card media aided the first cycle of 55,50% which was in the low category, and had increased in the second cycle to be 84,38% with a high criteria. So an increase in cognitive ability in identifying insignia numbers from the firs cycle to the second cycle at 28%. Based on the results of these studies concluded that the application of the model Number Head Together aided drawing card media can improve the cognitive ability of children to recognize numbers emblem
