PENGARUH STRES KERJA DAN LOCUS OF CONTROL TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA AGEN PADA PT SUNLIFE FINANCIAL CABANG NUSA DUA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh (1) stres kerja dan locus of control terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) locus of control terhadap stres kerja, (3) stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan (4) locus of control terhadap kepuasan kerja agen PT Sunlife Financial Cabang Nusa Dua. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif kausal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah agen PT Sunlife Financial Cabang Nusa Dua dan objek penelitian ini adalah stres kerja, locus of control, dan kepuasan kerja. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 63 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) stres kerja dan locus of control berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, (2) locus of control berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap stres kerja, (3) stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan (4) locus of control berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja agen PT Sunlife Financial Cabang Nusa Dua.

This research aimed to obtain an explanatory findings were tested on the effect of (1) job stress and locus of control on job satisfaction, (2) locus of control on job stress, (3) job stress on job satisfaction, and (4) locus of control on job satisfaction agent of PT Sunlife Financial Branch Nusa Dua. The research design used in this study was causal quantitative. The subjects of this research ware agent of PT Sunlife Financial Branch Nusa Dua and the objects of this research were job stress, locus of control, and job satisfaction. The sample of research amounted 63 employees. The data were collected by questionnaire. The data were analyzed by path analysis. The result of the research showed that: (1) job stress and locus of control had significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) locus of control had a negative significant effect on job stress, (3) job stress had a negative significant effect on job satisfaction, and (4) locus of control had a positive significant effect on job satisfaction.
