Designing Educational Board Games for Children Against Snakes Handling Using Competitive Mechanisms

Abstract


Snakes are reptiles, many people assume without seeing that not all snakes are dangerous. It is not uncommon for humans to slaughter and kill snakes in order to protect themselves. The focus of this research is to educate the public about handling snakes using board game as a media, this study aims to make people understand and be able to differentiate between dangerous snakes and those that are not, as well as how to handle these snakes. This research uses descriptive method with data collection in the form of interviews, and uses a linear strategy. Sources of data obtained from the results of previous research, online articles and interviews will be analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate the target's interest and enthusiasm in studying the information provided and understanding it.
