PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA UNTUK KELAS VII DI SMP NEGERI 2 KUBUTAMBAHAN

Permasalahan yang dirasakan oleh siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA adalah terlalu monotonnya pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran, dan minimnya penggunaan media pada setiap proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui rancang bangun multimedia pemelajaran yang dikembangkan, dan (2) untuk mengetahui kualitas hasil pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan model Luther yang dimulai dari tahap concept, design, materials colleting, assembly, testing, dan distribution serta untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan uji coba pada para ahli dan siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan. Metode untuk menganalisis kebutuhan berupa wawancara dan instrument pengumpulan data berupa kuesiner. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini terdiri dari satu ahli isi mata pelajaran, satu ahli desain pembelajaran, satu ahli media pembelajaran, 6 siswa untuk uji coba perorangan, dan 12 siswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan dua teknik yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mengasilkan produk pengembangan berupa Compact Disc multimedia pembelajaran yang layak pakai pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VII semester ganjil di SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan. Hasil uji ahli isi menunjukan nilai 96% dan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik, uji ahli media pembelajaran menilai media dengan hasil 81% dan berada pada kualifikasi baik, dan penilaian ahli desain menunjukan nilai 82% berada pada kualifikasi baik. Hasil uji coba perorangan menunjukan 83% berada pada kualifikasi baik, dan uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukan nilai 91% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik.Kata Kunci : pengembangan, model luther, multimedia pembelajaran
Problems perceived by the students of class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan in following the process of learning, especially in science subjects is too monotonous implementation of the learning process, and the lack of media use on any learning process. The purpose of this research is the development of ( 1 ) to determine the design of multimedia learning are developed, and ( 2 ) to determine the quality of learning outcomes developed multimedia development. The development of research methods that Luther started the development of a model of the stages of concept, design, materials colleting, assembly, testing, and distribution as well as to determine the feasibility of multimedia learning products is done by testing experts and students in class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan . Methods for analyzing the needs of interviews and data collection instruments such as kuesiner. Test subjects of this study consisted of one expert subject matter content, the instructional design expert, an expert instructional media, 6 students for individual trials, and 12 students for small group trials. Data were analyzed using two techniques namely qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis . This research is the development of products such as generating multimedia Compact Disc unsuitable for use in learning science this semester in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kubutambahan. The test results show the value of expert content was 96 % and the excellent qualifications, instructional media experts assess test media with 81 % and the results are in good qualifications, and assessment design experts showed the value of 82 % at a good qualification. The results of individual trials showed 83 % were in good qualifications , and a small group trials showed the value of 91 % at the excellent qualifications.
