PENGEMBANGAN PORTAL E-LEARNING BERBASIS MOODLE PADA MATA PELAJARAN FISIKA KELAS X DI SMA DWIJENDRA DENPASAR

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena belum adanya media yang relevan khusunya mengenai mata pelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain pengembangan Portal e-learning berbasis Moodle pada mata pelajaran Fisika; hasil validitas produk; dan uji efektivitas produk terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang disertai dengan pre- eksperimen. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Adapun subyek validasi terdiri dari ahli isi mata pelajaran, ahli desain pembelajaran, ahli media pembelajaran, tiga siswa untuk uji coba perorangan, duabelas siswa untuk uji coba kelompok kecil, dan empatpuluh tiga siswa untuk uji coba lapangan. Kemudian satu kelas digunakan untuk uji efektivitas produk. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pencatatan dokumen, angket dan pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) sebuah media e-learning berbasis Moodle yang dikembangkan berdasarkan desain yang dirancang, (2) hasil validitas produk menunjukkan media tidak perlu direvisi, hal tersebut dilihat dari: menurut uji ahli isi mata pelajaran menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (97,3%), menurut uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik (90,7%), menurut uji ahli media pembelajaran menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (91,6%), berdasarkan uji coba perorangan menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (90%), berdasarkan uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kategori baik (89,4%), dan berdasarkan uji coba lapangan menunjukkan kategori sangat baik (90,88%), dan (3) hasil uji efektivitas produk terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan Portal e-learning berbasis Moodle, skor rata-rata pretest lebih kecil dari skor rata-rata posttest, yaitu 63,90 berbanding 92,39.

This research was carried out since no relevant media was available especially relating to Physics. This research aimed at understanding the development design of elaborated Moodle-based e-learning Portal; product validity result; product effectiveness test to the students’ learning results. This is a development research completed with pre-experiment. The development model applied is ADDIE model. The validation subjects consisted of an expert in the lesson content, an expert in learning design, an expert learning media, three students for individual test, twelve students for small group test and forty three students for field test. One class was used for testing the effectiveness of the product. The applied method of collecting data is the recording of document, questionnaires, pre-test as well as post-test. The techniques of analysing data were descriptive-quantitative, descriptive-qualitative and inferential statistic analysis. The results shows that: (1) this produces development product in the form of applicable Moodle-based e-learning portal; (2) validity of the product indicates that the media needs no revisions: this can be seen from the expert on lesson content review showing excellent category (97.3%), based on the expert on learning design review, it is also on excellent category (90.7%); then according to the review of the expert on learning media, it shows excellent category as well (91.6%); in addition, based on the result of individual test, it reaches excellent category (90%); however, based on the small group test, it is only reached good category (89.4%); and according to field test, the result shows excellent category (90.88%). (3) In terms of the result of the product effectiveness test, there are slight differences amongst students’ learning results before and after using Moodle-based e-learning portal i.e. the average pre-test grades are smaller than those of post-test that is to say 63.90 in accordance with 92.39.
