Abstract

Masih banyak guru yang kurang memanfaatkan teknologi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik bagi siswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan guru mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar IPA yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menciptakan video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kompensi IPA pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan yang menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek uji ahli terdiri dari 3 orang ahli media pembelajaran, isi pelajaran, dan desain pembelajaran. Subjek uji coba produk terdiri dari 12 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan pencatatan dokumen. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara dan kuesioner. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu penilaian yang diberikan oleh ahli isi pelajaran yaitu 80% (sangat baik). Penilaian dari ahli desain pembelajaran yaitu 93,33% (sangat baik). Penilaian dari ahli media pembelajaran yaitu 91,11% (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba perorangan, yaitu 97,5% (sangat baik) dan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil yaitu 95,55% (sangat baik). Maka, video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual valid dan layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dapat digunakan siswa dalam pembelajaran.
