Results of Indonesian students studying in class VIII SMP N 4 Negara are still relatively low, it is deemed necessary for the research conducted on the effect of talking stick-assisted learning model instructional video on learning outcomes Indonesian. This study aims to determine significant differences between the Indonesian learning outcomes of students who take the learning by applying the learning model talking stick video-assisted learning and the learning of students who take the conventional learning model in the second semester of eighth grade students of SMP N 4. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The study population was all students of class VIII in SMP N 4 Negara with a population of 257 students. Samples were taken at random sampling technique. The number of samples in the study were 2 class consisting of 64 students. Data were collected with the objective of text-shaped test instruments, then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). The results show (1) a description of the data with the talking stick-assisted learning model instructional videos are at very high category, (2) description of the data with conventional learning models that are in the high category, and (3) there are significant differences between the Indonesian learning outcomes of students who take the learning with talking stick model of learning and the learning of students who take conventional learning models with tarithmetic = 18.60 > ttable = 2.000.
