PENGARUH LEVERAGE DAN GROWTH OPPORTUNITY SERTA PROFITABILITAS TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN HEDGING

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeroleh temuan eksplanatif yang teruji tentang pengaruh leverage, growth opportunity, dan profitabilitas secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan hedging pada Perusahaan Sektor Pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif kausal. Subjek penelitian yaitu Perusahaan Sektor Pertambangan dan objek penelitian yaitu leverage, growth opportunity, profitabilitas dan keputusan hedging. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pencatatan dokumen, dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) leverage, growth opportunity, dan profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap keputusan hedging pada Perusahaan Sektor Pertambangan sebesar 48,9%, (2) leverage berpengaruh positif signifikan secara parsial terhadap keputusan hedging, (3) growth opportunity berpengaruh positif signifikan secara parsial terhadap Keputusan hedging, dan (4) profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan secara parsial terhadap keputusan hedging.

The purpose of this research to test explanative findings of the effects of leverage, growth opportunity, and profitability simultaneously and partially forward hedging decision on Mining Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research design used was quantitative causal. The subject of research were Mining Sector Companies, and the object of this research was leverage, growth opportunity, profitability, and hedging decision. The data was obtained by documentation technique, and it’s analyzed by logistic regression. The result of this research shows that (1) leverage, growth opportunity, and profitability had significant effect to the hedging decision about 48,9%, (2) leverage had positive significant effect to the hedging decision, (3) growth opportunity had positive significant effect to the hedging decision, (4) profitability had positive significant effect to the hedging decision.
