Abstract

Siswa menunjukkan ekspresi tidak antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini kemungkinan menyebabkan suasana kelas yang tidak kondusif dan membosankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan mindfulness berbantuan media animasi terhadap kompetensi kemampuan IPS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan metode tes, yakni jenis tes objektif pilihan ganda biasa dengan empat pilihan alternatif jawaban. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh thitung  sama dengan 2,25 kurang ttabel sama dengan 1,67 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk =sama denan 61. Rata-rata kompetensi pengetahuan IPS kelompok yang dibelajarkan melalui pendekatan mindfulness berbantuan media animasi 0,494 lebih  0,361 rata-rata kompetensi pengetahuan IPS kelompok yang dibelajarkan secara konvensional. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan pendekatan minfulness berbantuan media animasi berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi pengetahuan IPS siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Khususnya bagi guru kelas V sekolah dasar pendekatan minfulness berbantuan media animasi dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran materi IPS.
