Pengembangan E-Learning dengan Model Waterfall Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan e-learning pada mata pelajaran IPA, (2) mendeskripsikan kualitas hasil validasi pengembangan e-learning yang dikembangkan menurut review para ahli dan uji coba produk pada mata pelajaran IPA, (3) untuk menguji efektivitas e-learning yang dikembangkan terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model waterfall yang terdiri dari enam tahap: (1) analisis prasyarat, (2) desain sistem, (3) implementasi/pelaksanaan, (4) pengujian, (5) penyebaran dan (6) pemeliharaan/perawatan. Proses pengembangan mengacu pada model yang dipilih. Subjek validasi dan uji efektivitas terdiri dari seorang ahli isi, seorang ahli desain pembelajaran, seorang ahli e-learning, tiga orang siswa untuk uji perorangan, 12 orang untuk siswa uji kelompok kecil, serta 28 orang untuk siswa uji lapangan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner dan tes tertulis. Mengacu pada metode, maka instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner/angket, dan tes. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan efektivitas pengembangan e-learning menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-learning sebagai komplemen terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Perhitungan hasil belajar diperoleh t hitung sebesar 2,992 dan harga t tabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,005. Dapat dikatakan bahwa e-learning pada mata pelajaran IPA secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : pengembangan, e-learning IPA, model waterfall
This research aims (1) to describe the architecture development of e-learning in science subjects, (2) describe the quality of the results of the validation of the development of e-learning are developed according to the review experts and product trials in science subjects, (3) to test the effectiveness of e-learning developed against the results of the study science subjects. This research is the development and the development model used is the waterfall model which consists of six stages: (1) requirements analysis, (2) system design, (3) implementation, (4) testing, (5) deployment and (6) maintenance. Development process refers to the selected model. The subject of validation and testing of the effectiveness consists of a content expert, an expert in instructional design, an expert in e-learning, three students for individual test, 12 students to test in small groups, as well as 28 people for field test. Data was collected using the method of recording documents, questionnaires and tests. Referring to the method, the instrument used was a record of documents, questionnaires and tests. The collected data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and techniques of inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed the effectiveness of e-learning development shows that there are significant differences in the application of learning using e-learning as a complement to the results of learning in science subjects. Calculation of learning outcomes obtained t count equal to 2.992 and the price t table with a significance of 5% level is 2.005. It can be said that e-learning in science subjects can effectively improve learning result of science subjects.
