PENGEMBANGAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF DENGAN MODEL 4D MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS VIII TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015 DI SMP NEGERI 3 SAWAN

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan keterbatasan media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif, (2) Menguji validitas hasil pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif IPA untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP, dan (3) Mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu (1) Tahap pendefinisian, (2) Tahap perancangan, (3) Tahap pengembangan, dan (4) Tahap penyebarluasan. Tahap validasi produk ini melibatkan seorang ahli isi, seorang ahli desain pembelajaran, seorang ahli media, untuk 3 orang siswa uji perorangan, untuk 12 orang siswa uji kelompok kecil, serta 30 orang siswa uji lapangan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode (1) pencatatan dokumen, (2) kuesioner dan (3) tes tertulis. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner, dan tes. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian ini berupa: (1) Rancang bangun pengembangan multimedia interaktif yang terdiri dari empat tahapan model 4D meliputi: (a) tahap pendefinisian, (b) tahap perancangan multimedia interaktif (c) tahap pengembangan multimedia interaktif, dan (d) tahap penyebarluasan. (2) Kelayakan kualitas hasil validasi pengembangan multimedia interaktif terdiri dari: ahli isi mata pelajaran berpredikat sangat baik (90.7%), ahli desain pembelajaran berpredikat baik (85%), ahli media pembelajaran berpredikat sangat baik (92.30%), uji perorangan berpredikat sangat baik (91,3%), uji kelompok kecil berpredikat baik (94.6%), dan uji coba lapangan berpredikat sangat baik (89%). (3) Efektivitas penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif diketahui dari terdapatnya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam penerapan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif terhadap hasil belajar IPA. Penghitungan hasil belajar diperoleh hasil t hitung sebesar 11,02 dan harga t tabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% adalah 2,021. Nilai rata-rata setelah menggunakan media (58) lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum menggunakan media (55,67). Dapat dikatakan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPA secara efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA.Kata Kunci : pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif, model 4D
This research was done because of the problems of the limitations of media used in the learning process. This study aims to (1) describe the design development of multimedia interactive learning, (2) Test the validity of the results of the development of multimedia interactive teaching science to students of class VIII SMP, and (3) assess the effectiveness of the use of the development of multimedia interactive learning on learning outcomes of students of class VIII IPA SMP. This type of research is the development of research. The model used is the 4D development model which consists of four stages, namely (1) the definition phase, (2) design phase, (3) stage of development, and (4) Phase dissemination. This product validation stage involves a content expert, an expert in instructional design, a media expert, 3 students for individual test, the students test to 12 small groups, as well as field testing 30 students. Collecting data in this study conducted by the method of (1) the listing document, (2) questionnaire and (3) a written test. The instrument used in the form of sheets of recording documents, questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative, quantitative descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test). Results of this study are: (1) The design of an interactive multimedia development which consists of four stages 4D models include: (a) the definition phase, (b) an interactive multimedia design stage (c) an interactive multimedia development stage, and (d) the dissemination phase. (2) Eligibility quality interactive multimedia development validation results consist of: the content experts predicated excellent subjects (90.7%), instructional design experts predicated good (85%), media experts predicated excellent learning (92.30%), individual test predicated very good (91.3%), a small group of test predicated good (94.6%), and field trials predicated very good (89%). (3) The effectiveness of the use of multimedia interactive learning known of the presence of significant differences in the application of multimedia interactive learning on learning outcomes IPA. Calculation of learning outcomes obtained by the t count equal to 11.02 and the price of t table with a significance level of 5% is 2,021. The average value after using the media (58) is higher than before using the media (55.67). It can be said that multimedia interactive learning in science subjects can effectively improve learning outcomes IPA.
