Pengaruh Metode Bermain Berbantuan Media Manipulatif Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan Pada Anak Kelompok B di TK Gugus Melati III Mengwi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus Melati III Mengwi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B di TK Gugus Melati III Mengwi yang berjumlah 242 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B2 di TK Setya Budhi III Mengwitani yang berjumlah 26 orang anak sebagai kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif dan anak kelompok B di TK Setya Budhi IV Mengwitani berjumlah 25 orang anak sebagai kelompok kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan Data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode non tes dalam bentuk observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil analisis diperoleh thitung= 4,44 sedangkan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 49 diperoleh nilai ttabel = 2,00 sehingga thitung = 4,44> ttabel =2,00. Maka diperoleh nilai t hitung > t tabel. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif adalah 72,23, sedangkan pada kelompok yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 61,36. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode bermain berbantuan media manipulatif terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak kelompok B di TK Gugus Melati III Mengwi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017.

This study aims to determine the effect of manipulative media-assisted play methods on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children group B in Kindergarten Gugus Melati III Mengwi Lesson 2016/2017. This research is a quasi experimental research with the research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is all the children of group B in Kindergarten Gugus Melati III Mengwi which amounted to 242 people. The sample is determined by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the children of group B2 in Setya Budhi III Mengwitani kindergarten which amounts to 26 children as a group that was taught by manipulative media-assisted play method and group B children in Setya Budhi IV Mengwitani kindergarten amounted to 25 children as control group with conventional learning. Data collection is done by using non test method in the form of observation. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis. The results obtained tvalue = 4.44 while at the level of significance of 5% with dk = 49 obtained ttable value = 2.00 so tvalue = 4.44> ttable = 2.00. Then obtained the value of tvalue> ttable. Based on the test criteria, then H0 is rejected. The average value of the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in groups of children who are learned through the method of manipulative media-assisted play is 72.23, whereas in the group taught by conventional learning is 61,36. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that there is influence of manipulative media-assisted playing method to the ability to recognize the concept of number in group B children in Kindergarten Gugus Melati III Mengwi Lesson Year 2016/2017.
