Contributorship Statement
To enhance transparency and prevent misunderstandings, Bisma The Journal of Counseling may request a contributorship statement with the submitted manuscript. This statement should clearly outline the contributions of each author to the research. Although it will not be published, it must accurately reflect the individual roles of each author.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of disagreements or disputes regarding authorship, the editorial board of Bisma The Journal of Counseling will follow a structured process to investigate and resolve the issues. The parties involved will be asked to provide evidence of their contributions. The journal may consult guidance from COPE or other relevant organizations to ensure a fair and unbiased resolution and will not intervene in personal disputes between authors.
Changes in Authorship
Requests to add, remove, or rearrange authors after manuscript submission will be considered only under exceptional circumstances. Such requests must be accompanied by a written explanation from all authors involved, detailing the reasons for the change. The editorial board will evaluate the request carefully and may consult with the journal’s advisors and refer to COPE’s guidance if necessary.

Bisma The Journal of Counseling does not accept honorary authorship (gift authorship) or ghost authorship (uncredited contributions). Individuals who have made only minor contributions should be acknowledged in the acknowledgment section but not listed as authors. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could affect the interpretation of their research in their submissions. This includes financial interests, affiliations, or personal relationships that might compromise the impartiality and credibility of the work. The journal encourages full transparency in these disclosures.
