PENGEMBANGAN E-LEARNING DENGAN MODEL WATERFALL PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA KELAS VIII

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan kurang berimbangnya kepadatan materi dengan alokasi waktu pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, pada penelitian ini dikembangkan e-learning sebagai solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan rancang bangun pengembangan e-learning, 2) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi e-learning yang dikembangkan berdasarkan review para ahli dan uji coba produk, 3) menguji efektivitas e-learning yang dikembangkan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan waterfall. Prosedur pengembangan mengacu pada model yang dipilih. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner dan tes. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pencatatan dokumen, kuesioner/angket, dan tes objektif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) deskripsi rancang bangun pengembangan e-learning dengan prosedur pengembangan model waterfall; 2) validitas e-learning menurut review ahli isi mata pelajaran diperoleh 92% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, review ahli e-learning diperoleh 89,33% dengan kualifikasi baik, review ahli desain pembelajaran diperoleh 89,33% dengan kualifikasi baik, uji coba perorangan diperoleh 92% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh 92,11% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, dan uji coba lapangan diperoleh 92,6% dengan kualifikasi sangat baik; 3) efektivitas e-learning menunjukan hasil thitung (2,52) > ttabel (2,021), sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ini berarti, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar antara siswa yang menggunakan e-learning sebagai komplemen pembelajaran dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan e-learning pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas VIII semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 di SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja.

This research was done because there was a problem in which there was imbalance between learning material and alocation of time. So that, this reseach was deal with the development of e-learning as a solution for the problem. The research aims to: 1) describe about the development of e-learning, 2) to describe about the validity of e-learning which have been developed based on review of experts and product trials, 3) to exemine the effectivity of e-learning which has been developed toward students’ learning result in science at grade VIII in second semester of academic year 2014/2015 in SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja. This research was research and development by using waterfall model. Procedure development refers to the model chosen. Data collected by using the method of recording documents, questionnaires, and written test. Data collection instruments used were documents recording sheet, questionnaire, and objective tests. Data anlysis which was used was descriptive qualitative, descriptive quantitative and inferential ststistics. The result of the research were: 1) description about the development of e-learning with waterfall model, 2) validity of e-learning based on the experts of course content review was very good qualification was 92%, based on the e-learning expert’s review was good qualification was 89,33%, based to instructional design expert’s review was good qualification was 89,33%, individual trials was very good was 92%, small group trials was very good was 92,11%, and field trials was very good was 92,6%, 3) effectivity of e-learning show thitung (2,52) > ttabel (2,021), so H0 rejected and H1 accepted. It means, there was significant difference between the learning result of students who use e-learning as leraning complement with students who did not use e-learning in science subject grade VIII on second semester of academic year 2014/2015 in SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja.
